“I chose to have my vulva painted because I want to see it as art. It’s been so hard to feel connected to my body lately, and it took a lot out of me to submit to The Vulva Gallery. But I want to change my relationship to my body to be thankful for it and love it. I want to believe that I am art. Because I think I deserve to see myself that way.”
