"Why does my vulva look different?"

“"Why does my vulva look different?" That’s a question I have often asked myself. When I got undressed, I always felt like I had to explain the look of my vulva. At the age of 17 I started thinking about a surgery and contacted a few doctors. When I was there for an initial consultation, they always gave me the feeling of being abnormal. I just wanted to be happy and unconcerned, and I thought a surgery would be the only way to gain those conditions. The only thing that kept me away from that decision was my gut feeling.
